Informations sur le poste de vacataire:

Cours en français et en anglais à effectuer entre les mois de janvier et mars 2024.

30h de cours par section English Track et French Track (Cours de 3h en section et 1h30 en demie-section) en première année du programme Bachelor (B1). 

Plan de cours déjà établi : Introduction au droit – Organisation judiciaire – Formation et exécution du contrat – Le commerçant – L’entreprise individuelle – Introduction au droit des sociétés commerciales.

Cours sanctionné par contrôle continu + un examen final préparés par les responsables de module de Toulouse.

Call for Papers – The World of NFTs Conference

The Centre for Distributed Ledger Technologies – University of Malta – and The International Journal of Law in Changing World invite authors to submit their manuscripts on the theme “The World of NFTS” to our conjoint conference to take place in July 2023 in Malta. We welcome papers that discuss the current state of the art and evolution of NTFS around the world, especially in view of their strong market footprint and adoption potential. We welcome contributions addressing the following topics:

  • Smart contracts and NFTS The GLAM sector and NFTS
  • NFTS, Gamification, and the Metaverse
  • NFTS and digital rights. NFTS and identity management
  • NFT-related Dispute Resolution (including ADR/ODR methods)
  • Document service via NFTS
  • Tokenization in the realm of Public Land Registries
  • NFTs and intellectual Property Rights (compliance, infringement, registration etc.)

University of Groningen : 3 Postdocs ethics/law/economics/psychology of misinformation and stereotypes

Job description

The University of Groningen is recruiting three postdocs to join a team led by Boudewijn de Bruin. The postdocs will contribute to an interdisciplinary research project on motivated cognition and non-evidential belief formation. The project involves normative (ethics, law) and empirical (economics, psychology) research, and designing and testing policy instruments.

Successful candidates should have an interest in the ethical, legal, and social science aspects of “non-evidential beliefs,” or “motivated cognition,” such as racist and sexist stereotypes, climate change denial, belief in fake news, conspiracy theories, etc. They should be excited to work in an interdisciplinary environment in which normative (ethical, legal) and empirical (economic, psychological) issues are constantly integrated. Topics that they should be interested in include such things as legal solutions to misinformation, psychological tools to combat motivated cognition, organizational remedies against group stereotypes, as well as philosophical and ethical approaches to intellectual or epistemic virtues.

Qualifications

  • candidates should have a PhD in philosophy, ethics, law, economics, or psychology
  • since part of the project is to work with external parties in business and government, they should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to reach out to non-academic stakeholders.

The appointee will be based in the Faculty of Economics & Business and the Centre for Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, of the University of Groningen.
