SPEAKERS AND CHAIRS
Anne AUDRAN-LY is a Professor at Audencia Business School. She teaches the Fundamentals of Law as well as various courses relating to Contract Law, Intellectual Property Law and Communication and Media Law. She has published several cases (at the CCMP) either in Law or hybrid cases mixing Law and marketing, communication, brand management or human resources management. A keen pedagogue, she tries to innovate every year by making her courses more inclusive and adapted to all learning preferences. She tests students’ use of artificial intelligence and encourages them to develop critical thinking skills. She encourages peer assessment and experimentation of the feedback cycle to increase the success rate of students in final examinations. But she is not only interested in teaching methods. She’s also developing the content of her courses to reflect societal changes. She has therefore in the past two years updated the content of her various courses to explain to students how law can be a powerful tool for ecological transition.
Collen BAKER. PhD (Wharton) Professor Colleen Baker’s research focuses on banking and financial institutions law and regulation, especially financial market infrastructures, derivatives markets, and central banking. She teaches business law, business ethics, and dispute resolution, and is also a mediator and arbitrator. Colleen is a member of the State Bars of NY and TX. She received her JD/MBA from the University of Virgina.

Robert BIRD is a Professor of Business Law and the Eversource Energy Chair in Business Ethics at the University of Connecticut. Robert’s scholarship focuses on compliance, corporate counsel, legal strategy, and business ethics. Winner of numerous research and teaching awards, Robert has authored over eighty publications in journals such as the Journal of Law and Economics, American Business Law Journal, the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy, and the MIT Sloan Management Review. Robert is the author of the 2025 book, “Legal Knowledge in Organizations: A Source of Strategic and Competitive Advantage,” published by Cambridge University Press. Robert is currently a visiting Fulbright Scholar at the University of Vaasa, in Vaasa, Finland.
Hugues BOUTHINON-DUMAS is professor of law at ESSEC Business school (Paris). He is also a part-time judge (MTT) at the Nanterre Court. His teaching and research focus on economic law, business law, criminal law, and governance. He is particularly interested in the relationship between law and other systems or practices (Law & Management, Law & Economics, Law & Society…). He is currently a visiting professor at the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain) and the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB).
Lino CASTEX est doctorant en théorie politique au Cevipof (Sciences Po). Son travail de thèse « Une histoire conceptuelle du bien commun. Enquête sur le retour d’une idée ancienne dans le discours contemporain » est dirigé par Gil Delannoi (FNSP) et Philippe Portier (EPHE/CNRS). Il est chargé d’enseignement à SciencesPo et à l’Institut catholique de Paris et il est co-responsable avec Astrid von Busekist du séminaire de théorie politique de SciencesPo (SPOT).
Il vient de publier dans la revue Lumi; « Entre bonheur privé et bonheur commun : l’inévidence constitutive de la doctrine de l’intérêt général à la française », revue Lumi, 6 (2), 2025.
Elena CODONI. I am a postdoctoral fellow in Business Law at the University of Florence, where I conduct research on the use of mediation in corporate governance under the supervision of Professor Paola Lucarelli. I hold a joint degree in Business Law from the Universities of Macerata and Orléans, and a joint PhD in Business Law from the Universities of Macerata and Paris-Est Créteil, where I defended a thesis on the Italian and French Benefit Company models under the supervision of Professors Alessio Bartolacelli and Bénédicte François. During my PhD, I was also a visiting researcher at the Peter A. Allard School of Law (University of British Columbia) under the supervision of Professor Carol Liao. My research focuses on mediation, sustainable corporate governance, and comparative company law. I am a member of the research laboratory Marchés, Institutions, Libertés (Paris-Est Créteil) and of the Associazione per lo studio della giustizia consensuale.
Jean-Michel DO CARMO SILVA is a Senior Professor at Grenoble Ecole de Management. His most recent work focuses on the governance of insurance companies. He is Vice-President of the French Law and Management Association (AFD&M), which he chaired from 2017 to 2020. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Law & Management Research Network, an international organization promoting research at the intersection of law and management. In this capacity, he is part of the team of co-editors of the collective work to be published by Oxford Universty Press in the first half of 2026: Hankbook of Law & Management

Deborah GOLEMON is the Legal Scholar in Residence for the Risk Management and Insurance program in the David and Sharon Turrentine School of Management in the College of Business and Social Sciences at the University of Louisiana Monroe. She is the holder of the State Farm Professorship in Insurance, and she teaches Commercial Property Insurance, Commercial Liability Insurance, and Insurance Law. Ms. Golemon’s research interests include tort reform, insurance bad faith, captive insurance, and enterprise risk management. She also enjoys developing teaching cases based on property and liability insurance claim scenarios. Prior to joining the faculty at ULM, Ms. Golemon served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri United States Attorney’s Office.
Badr GUELIDA, Professor of law at Mohammed V University, Rabat, Morocco. I hold a Doctoral Degree in Law from Abdelmalek Saadi University in Tangier, Morocco. I am also a holder of BA in Arts (English Studies) from Mohammed V University in Rabat, Morocco. I teach civil law, bank law, mediation and arbitration, and real property law. In my research, I investigate various facets of real property paradigm in relation to social and economic conditions. Also, I compare the Moroccan real property legal system to other systems such as the French and American law.
My current work explores the historical evolution of real property since the middle of barbarism up to now. I am also conducting a research about the access of the Moroccan “Solaliyat” women to real proprety.

Audrey KUCIA est chargée de cours au College of Business et Technology de l’Université Northeastern Illinois, Chicago, Illinois, au sein des départements de droit des affaires et d’informatique. Ses recherches portent notamment sur les publications des sociétés cotées et les liens entre les propositions d’actionnaires, le cyberdroit et le droit du travail; les captives d’assurance et les problématiques émergentes de gestion des risques ; et l’intelligence artificielle et la supplantation robotique des employés et des cadres. Audrey a exercé des fonctions juridiques et de conformité au sein de plusieurs entreprises américaines du Fortune 60, ainsi qu’au sein du Bureau National du Département du Trésor des États-Unis, de l’Internal Revenue Service et du Bureau du Conseiller Juridique en chef. Elle encadre plusieurs étudiantes assistantes de recherche au sein du club Purdue Women in Law. Audrey a appris à prononcer correctement son prénom lors de ses études en France.
Fabien LECHEVALIER est doctorant en droit à l’Université Paris-Saclay (CERDI) et affilié à Stanford University (TTLF). Ses recherches portent sur la dimension collective du droit à la vie privée et sur plusieurs thématiques à l’interface des disciplines du droit et du design. Il a été Visiting Fellow au Digital Life Initiative de Cornell Tech. et est membre du NYU Privacy Research Group. Avec un parcours pluridisciplinaire, au croisement du droit, de l’économie et du design, il s’intéresse aux démarches de recherche-action et recherche-création dans le milieu juridique. Il enseigne le droit dans plusieurs institutions (Université Paris-Saclay, Mines-Télécom) et dirige actuellement le projet « Lab Surveillance », un laboratoire étudiant éphémère de recherche juridique expérimentale par le design porté par l’ENSCI-Les Ateliers et l’Université Paris-Saclay.
Thomas M. MADDEN is Associate Professor of Business Law at Marist University School of Management (Poughkeepsie, NY) and Adjunct Professor of Law at Northeastern University School of Law (Boston, MA). He has published at least a dozen articles in top U.S. law journals in the fields of ethics and financial regulation, law and strategy, and alternative dispute resolution. He is currently engaged in producing the 4th edition of Ethics in Finance (Wiley Blackwell) (previously authored by Professor Emeritus John R. Boatright). Madden earned his BA from Trinity College (CT) and JD from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law (IL) and holds an MA in Politics from New York University where he is ABD on a PhD. He is a member of the New York, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island Bars and is a long-time arbitrator and mediator for FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority).
Patrick MIGNAULT est professeur titulaire à la Faculté de droit de l’Université de Sherbrooke où il dirige un programme de cycle supérieur en droit des affaires et risques de l’entreprise. Ses travaux de recherche portent sur les thèmes de la gestion des risques, la gouvernance des sociétés et la régulation des activités financières. Le professeur Mignault participe notamment aux activités de différents groupes de recherche à titre de membres du Centre de recherche interdisciplinaire en cybersécurité de l’IUdeS, du Groupe pour la Prévention et le Règlement des Différends (G-PRD), de l’Initiative canadienne de droit climatique et de la Chaire en gouvernance et droit des affaires (Université de Montréal).
Denise NEMR est doctorante en deuxième année de thèse en sciences de gestion et de management à l’Université de Rouen Normandie. Sa thèse intitulée « L’étude des transformations des organisations vers le statut des sociétés à mission : une lecture par la perspective du care » est financée par la région Normandie. Titulaire d’une licence en sciences sociales, une maîtrise en anthropologie, et deux Master de recherche : en Management et en Développement économique et social, elle a commencé sa carrière dans une entreprise de recherche et de statistique, où elle était chargée de la méthodologie qualitative. Elle a ensuite développé une carrière d’enseignement en sciences économiques et sociales pendant dix ans au Liban. Passionnée par la recherche et l’enseignement, sa recherche s’inscrit dans une approche interdisciplinaire, articulant sciences sociales et management pour interroger la place du care dans la gouvernance responsable.
Sybille NEUMANN est professeure de droit civil et responsable de la filière management du tourisme international à l’ISFATES (Institut supérieur franco-allemand de techniques, d’économie et de sciences) à Sarrebruck.
Elle était pendant plusieurs années avocate au barreau de Strasbourg (Cabinet ASA Avocats Associés) et elle a travaillé pour plusieurs banques en tant que conseillère juridique.
Ses recherches et ses publications portent sur le droit des contrats, le droit international privé, le droit bancaire et les droits de la personnalité (thèse sur le droit à l’image en droit comparé), notamment en Allemagne et en France.
Philip M. NICHOLS is the Joseph Kolodny Professor of Social Responsibility and a Professor of Legal Studies and Business Ethics at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. His teaching and research focus on the integration of emerging economies into the global economy. He has served as the President of the Academy of Legal Studies in Business, as Co-Chair of UNCEFACT/LG (a United Nations expert committee on trade), and as Co-Chair of the American Society of International Law’s Anticorruption Law Group and its International Economic Law Group.
Dobrina RAMPHORT is an associate professor of law at TBS-Education and a lawyer in the fields of intellectual property law, international business law and tax law. Previously, she was Head of the International Business Development Master’s program and Head of International Relations. With a PhD in Intellectual Property Law, her research focuses on international comparative law and regulation of national and European IP and competition law to ensure equitable access to innovation, namely in terms of the affordability of biotechnologies and biosimilars.
Solène RINGLER is a Full Professor of private law at the University of Angers. She specializes in business law, banking and financial law, and the law of climate transition. Her research examines how private law can support sustainability goals through corporate governance, sustainable finance, and the regulation of economic activities. She is the co-author of the Dalloz Commercial Law (2023) and the editor of Le banquier du XXIᵉ siècle (Lextenso, 2023). She has published widely in peer-reviewed journals and collective books and is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences. Her work explores the links between the economy, sustainability, and legal responsibility. She also leads several European projects, including the Sustainable Business Blended Intensive Program and the forthcoming Just Transition master’s degree.
