Call for Papers –  A discussion on fast and sustainable fashion.

The fashion industry is a major driver of global commerce and creativity, but it is also a focal point for cultural identity and environmental scrutiny. As fast fashion accelerates consumption and waste, the push for sustainable fashion brings new challenges. Innovation related to fashion has to be studied in a legal and ethical perspective across jurisdictions.

We encourage submissions which study in a legal or interdisciplinary perspective on any of the topics related to fast and sustainable fashion, such as the following ones (non-exhaustive list):

Labor regulation, multinational accountability, workers and minors at work protection, supply chain liability, corporate responsibility and ESG compliance, waste management and environmental law, International or fair trade, greenwashing, consumers protection, sustainable procurement, protection of IPRs, innovation, promotion of creativity, digital transformation, metaverse initiatives, etc.

We encourage submissions from legal scholars, policy researchers, PhD candidates, postdoctoral fellows, and interdisciplinary academics from fields such as fashion studies, environmental studies, labor economics, and digital technologies.

As part of our commitment to supporting emerging voices, we particularly encourage early-career scholars.
